Industrial prototyping: from design to validation.

We give a design physical form to explore what drawings alone cannot resolve. A prototype helps test decisions and establish a clearer basis for production planning.

Your business is our starting point.

A useful prototype answers specific questions. It might help assess dimensions, check an assembly, compare materials or observe how a solution operates. Before making it, we establish which features must be represented faithfully and which can remain simplified. This keeps an early test from being mistaken for a product that is already ready for manufacturing.

We treat prototyping as part of the development process, with planned reviews and room for revision. What we learn feeds back into the design and informs the next decisions. Where relevant funding opportunities form part of the project, we coordinate activities and documentation with the financial plan and the requirements that need to be checked.

Questions before we begin.

Does a prototype need the final production materials?

Not always. A dimensional check may need different characteristics from a functional test. Materials and the level of fidelity are chosen according to the purpose of the prototype.

Will one prototype be enough?

It may be, or revisions may be needed. The route depends on the maturity of the design and the test findings. We assess any further iterations together.

Is a validated prototype ready for production?

Not automatically. Validation applies to the agreed checks. Production engineering, manufacturing process decisions and any additional requirements still need to be addressed before full-scale production.
